gun culture mentality

Americans, and us Canadians too, will have prayers, memorial services and lay flowers in all sorts of places in memory of this horrible and preventable tragedy. All that does is comfort the living. It does not help the murdered. It most certainly won't help the next bunch of victims, and there will be a next bunch, that gun culture will always have a next bunch lined up. Organizations like the NRA don't have an upper limit of deaths where they pull back the reins and say,"Hey, maybe we should do something about this!" . The NRA and people of their ilk, do actually do something when shit like this goes down, they buy more guns and ammo and hoard them "to prevent crap like that from happening again". Go on any gun site/blog/facebook page and that's what you read. It is sickening. They want to arm teachers. Unfucking beleivable. The furor of this will die down, then another event will occur, and the cycle will continue.

guns and over 2 dozen deaths.

Merry Christmas NRA, and a Happy New Year to all the subscribers of The Cartridge of the Month club. A great field test in Conneticut. You must be sooo proud of this reaper of the Second Ammendment! 20 children and 6 adults taken out with extreme enthusiasm!

Charleton Heston can hold his NRA convention here instead of Columbine.

I wonder if there is such an animal such as an upper death limit that will get people saying "Enough is Enough!

Imagine

Imagine if a Sikh walked into a church and shot a handful of Christian people. The airwaves would be flooded with outrage. People would demand the border controls be tightened. State would begin racial profiling, (Oops, Arizona).

Now imagine a white man going in a Sikhs temple and shooting a handful of Sikhs. Wow, the silence is deafening.

In the former scenario, the Sikh gunman would immediatly be labelled a terrorist, in the latter, the white man just a criminal.

I wonder what type of weapon the white gunman used? Do NRA types sit at home choking their chickens, (that is a term for masterbating you inbred gun nuts), thinking about this? Do the gun nuts cum when their thoughts turn to the smell of cordite, blood and feces? How about the screaming and crying? Or do the truly intellectual nut jobs hold out until they imagine the grief of the families in the years to come?

Do the NRA meetings consist of heated arguments on which handgun is better fot shooting up temples?

What a truly fucked up country......Allan

Gun ownership.

I have not got one single problems with guns. I have shot 9mm pistols, sub-machine guns, assault rifles and once, a .50 cal heavy machine gun. Oh yeah, unfortunately also a 12 gauge shot gun. Ouch!

I have problems with gun owners. Let me clarify that, with gun owners that hoard guns. Fucking fanatical gun owners that would love, for some unfathomable reason, would like to see truck loads of guns for sale in vending machines or given away at Halloween.

These fuckheads cry 'Second Amendment" at the first whiff of gun control yet would silence, string up and lock up anyone foolish enough to disagree with them. So much for the "First Amendment" I wish the gun nuts would just list hat parts of their Constitution and Bill of Rights they want to  follow and what parts they want to use as toilette paper. It would clear things up immensely.

Regardless of what political party they claim to follow, they are all extremely right of center when it comes down to their guns. These Cartridge of the Month" members just don't see the heartbreak and mayhem  that can be laid at their own feet. Or, maybe they do and relish the agony! Who the fuck knows....Allan

Fido sucks

I am 6 months into a 3 year plan with Fido. I won't use my Blackberry Curve ever again. As a matter of fact, I will never own another cell phone again because of Fido.

First off, my wife also has the same make of phone and 2 months ago a black line formed across her screen. She sent it off for repairs and they wanted $200 for a temporary phone. I have no idea if the money was returnable. It took two months to get her phone back. My phone now has a black line across the screen.

Next, when I got the phone, I said yes to the $2 fee for paper billing. I have yet to see a single bill. I cannot access fido online as the procedure changes every time I log on. I then get cancelled after I miss the due date by a day and have to pay reconnection fees every time.

My plan was supposed to be $45 a month but the lowest bill so far has been $69. I do not have email nor internet.

Now they want $25 dollars to change my number with a local #.

The wrong trend...

Below is a link that states America is extending the Patriot Act another four (4) years. Here is a news flash. The powers that be, will not let go of any extra policing powers they can scare out of the general populace....ever.
